The word for the day is सिंहासनम् (siMhAsanam).
सिंहासनम् means Throne.
Why is a throne called सिंहासनम् ?
Well let's breakdown the word:
सिंहासनम् means सिंह (siMha)(Lion) + आसनम्(Asanam)(seat) which means the Seat of a Lion.
A King is considered a Lion among men hence his throne is called the Seat of a Lion.
