Let's get a little bit poetic today!
हरति इति हरिः (harati iti hariH) He who takes away is Hari.
हरति इति हरः (harati iti haraH) He who takes away is Hara.
Technically there is no difference between the word Hari and Hara.
Hari(Vishnu) and Hara(Shiva).
Now, so what do Vishnu and Shiva take away from us?
Well, this is up to us to decide how we want to fill in the blanks.
Hari and Hara can take away our ignorance and sins.
Hari and Hara can also take our heart and mind away in a captivating manner ever so beautifully.
So you can sing..."Hari and Hara, You Took My Heart Away"
