प्रहेलिका
Prahelika means riddle and in these we will find verbal gymnastics!
अपदो दूरगामी स साक्षरो न च पण्डितः
अमुखः स्फ्टवक्ता च यो जानाति स पण्डितः
He travels far though devoid of feet; not a scholar though literate;
speaks with frankness though bereft of a mouth.
One who knows who he is, is a scholar.
Answer: Letter!
Well...we can also say its a text message or email too after all an email/text message too travels far sans feet..not a scholar though literate..speaks with frankness though without a mouth(no doubt of that here..our messages carry much more than frankness even emojis).
One who knows who he is, is a scholar.
(But does one have to be a scholar to read an email or text message?LOL)
